DIY or Call Us?

There is no safe DIY path for Cambria installation. The material weighs 20 pounds per square foot at 3 cm; a 60″ by 26″ vanity top is 216 pounds, awkward as a mattress, and brittle until bedded. Transport without an A-frame risks fracture. Cutting requires a water-fed bridge saw with diamond blade; dry cutting silica-blasts the shop and ruins the edge.

What an owner can check: verify the sink clips are tight (hand-tight, no tools), confirm caulk integrity at the backsplash joint, and photograph any crack propagation weekly to document rate.
