The edge restraint system matters more than the paver face for replacement matching; CWS commonly used Snap Edge or Perma-Edge aluminum or PVC restraints, and the anchor spike spacing differs between brands. DIY or Call Us?

An owner can safely inspect the edge restraint by lifting a few pavers at the border with a flat pry bar; if the restraint is cracked or the spikes have pulled out, that is useful information to relay when you call. You can also check the joint sand depth: it should sit about ⅛ inch below the paver chamfer. What goes wrong with DIY is the compaction. A plate compactor rental will not achieve the 98% Proctor density that prevents settling, and hand-tamping leaves soft spots that show up within one rainy season.
