DIY or Call Us?

An owner can safely inspect joint sand condition, measure sunken areas with a level, and photograph efflorescence patterns for diagnosis. What goes wrong in DIY paver repair is base preparation: without plate compaction in 6-inch lifts and proper slope grading (minimum 1.5% away from structures), the repair fails in one season. Polymeric sand requires precise moisture activation; too little and it doesn’t set, too much and it stains the paver face.
